Up to 4 week mini-sabbatical at nationally recognized center of clinical pharmacy excellence.  Experience can be customized to meet the needs of the successful bidder.  Examples of areas of exposure include:  Anticoagulation Service, Cardiac Risk Reduction Service, Primary Care, Oncology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Mental Health, Asthma/Allergy, Palliative Care, Geriatrics/Skilled Nursing Home Care, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, Transitional Care, Patient Safety/Quality, Drug Information, Growth Factor Monitoring, Travel Medicine, and Pharmacy Administration.  Emphasis will be placed on imparting hands-on knowledge in developing successful business cases for the expansion of clinical pharmacy programs and services.  Must provide your own transportation and lodging.  Contact Dan Witt (phone: 303-536-7930; e-mail: dan.m.witt@kp.org) to arrange.
