Description

This certificate is good for two (2) heat pump systems located at one (1) residential, retail or office site.

 

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
INDOOR SECTION: Go over system operation with owner, are there any problems they are aware of? Check thermostat and verify proper calibration of room temperature indicator. Check air filter, replace if owner has replacement filters on site or clean if washable. Inspect indoor coil and blower assembly. If indoor coil has minimal dirt buildup, wash in place. If dirt buildup is too severe to wash coil in place, recommend removal and chemical cleaning (additional charge). Lubricate indoor blower motor if applicable. Inspect primary and emergency condensate drain pans, clean pans and drain lines as required. Check high and low voltage wiring connections at indoor unit and service disconnect. Fall/winter maintenance: check indoor blower motor amperage draw. Verify proper heater sequencer and safety control operation. Visually inspect duct system condition.
OUTDOOR SECTION: Visually inspect unit for corrosion damage and refrigerant leaks. Clean debris out of unit and wash condenser coil. Lubricate outdoor fan motor if applicable. Check compressor motor amperage draw. Check outdoor fan motor amperage draw. Fall/winter maintenance: check and verify proper defrost control operation. Check and verify correct refrigerant charge electronically, add up to one pound refrigerant at no additional charge. Check temperature difference across indoor coil, temperature drop (cooling), temperature rise (heating). Complete service invoice and check list before leaving jobsite. Advise owner of any repairs required.
