Robert Parker and the Wine Spectator rated the Pavie and Leoville Las Cases 99 and 100 respectively (out of 100) and the others are right up there. The Leoville Barton and Pichon Longueville both received a 96 from Parker and 94-97 from the Spectator. Pichon Lalande earned a 97 and the relatively unknown La Clusiere was ranked 100 by Parker, who is considered the “guru” of Bordeaux!! So here’s a chance to get wonderful wines for saving that rank right up with the first growths, which now sell for $700-800 per bottle.
