WINE - 2 RHONE MAGNUMS

Item Number: 360
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Unusual magnum formats from the two outstanding Rhone wine producers. Parker calls Jean-Louis Chave "the model estate for a family-owned vineyard." While 1984 was a challenging year in France, the larger bottling and the quality of the winemaker make this an interesting opportunity. 1985 was a stronger year for the Rhone, and Vieux Telegraphe is known for its blockbuster reds. These wines, 1985 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Vieux Telegraphe and 1984 Hermitage Jean-Louis Chave, are made to last 25 years or more, so it's time to drink them!

These wines have been provided by private collectors who are parents and friends of Sage Hill School. The wines have been kept in temperature-controlled conditions since their acquisition, but in some cases that acquisition has been from other collectors, auctions and retailers.
