WINE - TOP RANKED 1982 BORDEAUX

Item Number: 369
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
The year 1982 ranks as one of the great Bordeaux vintages of the 20th century as you will see with the Chateau La Lagune (Haut-Medoc), Chateau Pichon Longeuville-Comptesse de Lalande (Pauillac) and Chateau Lafite Rothschild (Pauillac). Initially thought to be an early-maturing vintage that might not stand the test of time, these wines have taken its place among the greats of 1929, 1947 and 1961. This vintage established Robert Parker as a great wine critic as he first asserted its quality and durability. Today, 25 years later, these wines still benefit from decanting and time in the air. According to Parker, La Lagune is ranked 92, Pichon 99 and Lafite 100.
