Joanna Hershon received a masters of fine arts in fiction from Columbia University in 1999 and has been teaching on the undergraduate level at Columbia for over 5 years.
The winning bidder will receive a signed, personalized copy of each of Ms. Hershon's first two critically acclaimed novels: Swimming and The Outside of August. Her third book, The German Bride, will be released in March.
In addition to the signed books, the winning bidder will also have an opportunity to meet with the author over lunch to discuss the creative writing process.
