Rabbi Harold Kushner, author of the widely-acclaimed When Bad Things Happen to Good People will provide the winning bidder with copies of two of his books, tapes or CDs -- personalized by the Rabbi himself. Two books could include his recently published Overcoming Life's Disappointments and/or the classic, When Bad Things Happen to Good People.

 

In the event this item is purchased by someone in the Boston or surrounding area (or willing to travel there) Rabbi Kushner has agreed to meet the winning bidder and one guest for coffee and conversation in the west suburban Boston area.

Special Instructions

Born in Brooklyn, Rabbi Kushner is an Alum of both Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS). Rabbi Kushner has taught at Clark University and the Rabbinical School of the JTS, and has received six honorary doctorates. He served as the long time congregational rabbi of Temple Israel in Natick, Massachusetts for twenty-four years, where he is currently Rabbi Emeritus.
