You and a guest will share a meal and conversation with Barnard President, Judith Shapiro, who will also take you on a personal guided tour of the College.

Judith R. Shapiro, President of Barnard College, is a widely respected cultural anthropologist. A prominent voice on women's education, Shapiro has led Barnard since 1994, through exceptional transformations at every level, to its becoming the most sought-after private liberal arts college for women in the United States.

A native of New York City, President Shapiro is the first Barnard president educated in the New York public schools and has been a strong voice for Barnard's continued historic role in community development and advocacy. President Shapiro is a magna cum laude graduate of Brandeis University and holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from Columbia University.
