Description

You won’t want to miss this wonderful excursion! Your child and 3 Congressional friends will spend a Saturday in Washington, DC with Congressional art teacher, Ms. Cheryl Miehl.  The group will meet at the East Falls Church metro station and head to the Dupont Circle area where they will visit the Phillips Collection, which houses master works from the likes of Renoir, Klee, Rothko, O’Keeffe, and many more.  While in Dupont Circle, the group will check out some of the shopping available.  They will then go to Massachusetts Avenue and take in the wealth of architectural styles prevalent on Embassy Row.   After a great lunch at Old Ebbit Grill, they will visit the National Museum of Women in the Arts to finish off a great day of art and architectural exploration of a few of DC’s gems!
