Take the Sportrock Climbing Center  Basic Skills class and in one hour the instructors will teach you the essential safety skills needed to climb at a Sportrock facility. You'll learn to properly put on a harness, tie into the rope and belay for a partner. You can then use their facilities without the aid of an instructor.
