Special Instructions

Founded in 1676, the Eliot School is the fourth oldest school in the country and has been a Jamaica Plain institution for more than 330 years. A book about the school published by the trustees in 1905 says the school's purpose was to "satisfy that instinctive desire of human beings to create."

The school offers a wide range art classes and workshops for adults and children.
