The Wines of The Hess Collection embody the finest expression and dedication of the winemaker's art and the mystique of tradition. They reflect the unique character of the powerful mountain grapes that are grown on our 280 acres of vineyard on the steep, austere and volcanic slopes of Mount Veeder.
The Hess Collection Mountain Cuvee has a concentrated aroma that expresses vanilla, brown sugar and mint. On the palate the wine reveals flavors of boysenberry and espresso richly framed with ripe mountain tannins.
