Mak Chin’s,  on Shepherd, is like two different restaurants -- on one side, there’s a walk-up counter where you can get some great, fast, pan-Asian food at lunch time. And on the other side, there’s a cool bar for drinks and appetizers which is rocking on Thursday and Friday nights.
