Description

Breyer made its first model horse, the #57 Western Horse, in 1950. It was a special order for the F.W. Woolworth Company designed to adorn a mantelpiece clock. The company was flooded with requests from people who wanted to know if they could just purchase the horse!

Included in this set are:
Chincoteague Pony - Misty is the beloved character of Marguerite Henry’s timeless classics Misty of Chincoteague, and Stormy. She is an authentic replica of the real Chincoteague, Virginia Palomino pinto pony.

Black Beauty - With a strong spirit and a kind heart, Black Beauty shared with the world the adventures, disappointments, and joys of his life in nineteenth-century England.

Arabian Mare and Foal - This red roan mare and dark bay foal is part of Breyer's Classic series collection.
