Levon Helm is a lifelong musician, a founding member of The Band, a Grammy award winner, actor, and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Miraculously, he is also a survivor of throat cancer who still plays and sings. Levon build his Woodstock studio over 30 years ago and in recent years has opened it up to live concerts with the likes of Emmylou Harris, Dr. John, Elvis Costello and Larry Campbell, to name a few.
