Val Cunningham, a dancer for most of her life, started teaching and dancing professionally in 1997. She is ISTD and DIVIDA certified with 'high honors' in both Ballroom and Latin and is a member of N.D.C.A Val’s passion lies in teaching Salsa, the club style of Swing and Argentine Tango. Val has studied extensively with all the great masters in the Bay Area and around the world and has extended her teaching throughout the U.S and Europe.Val has an amazing ability to teach even those who feel ‘that they have two left feet’ to dance. She infuses her pupils with confidence and fills the hour with fun and excitement, as you realize that ‘it is possible’ to dance like those you see on TV or in the movies….it is not just for the “stars’
Val will teach you and your partner some moves that will impress, in a one hour private dance lesson at the metronome ballroom.
