Only 10 lucky NPS moms will get the chance to sign up for this special Kreeger Museum tour followed by a luncheon on Tuesday, October 9.  You'll begin at 10:30 a.m. with Kreeger Docent Brooke Fink for a wonderful tour of the building, grounds and exhibit. The Kreeger Museum is a private, non-profit art museum located in the former residence of David and Carmen Kreeger. Designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson, it showcases the Kreeger's permanent collection of 19th and 20th century paintings and sculptures. Highlights of the collection include works by Monet, Rodin, Picasso, Miro, Moore, Kandinsky and Washington artists Sam Gilliam, Bill Christenberry and Gene Davis-as well as examples of traditional African and Asian Art. Following this informative tour, guests will join NPS mom, Nancy Carter for a delicious lunch at her home located nearby off Foxhall. What a wonderful way to spend a day filled with culture!
