On June 9, 2007, Grade 5 teacher and master rider, Christine Nickerson, will take two students to have lunch and watch the Upperville Colt Horse Show.  This show, held under The Oaks in scenic Upperville, Virginia, founded in 1852, is the oldest in the United States and involves over 2000 horse and rider combinations from young children to leading Olympic and World Cup riders and horses.  No horse n' around....this will be one very special day!
