"Quiet Cove" is the title of this abstract painting offered by local artist, Scooter Flaherty.  Mr. Flaherty, who has had numerous shows in New York City and the Washington, D.C. area, studied art at The McClancy Studio Program in New York.  His work will be featured in a show opening in January 2008 at a 14th Street gallery .  Mr. Flaherty feels his abstracts are "the product of an activity in motion, transforming slowly; gathering, organizing, visualizing, and editing, in an on going search for beauty."  This work is oil on canvas; 59"x33".
