Opus One is the joint venture between Robert Mondavi of Napa, and Lafite Rothschild of France.  Estate grown California grapes are combined in the classic French Bordeaux blend, to produce the most famous wine in America.  1994 produced perfect weather, perfect grapes, and perfect wine.
