Description
Yosemite National Park’s Bracebridge Dinner has become a true American tradition since its inception seventy-eight years ago in the magnificent Yosemite Valley. This spectacular Christmas pageant takes place in The Ahwahnee’s grand Dining Room, which is transformed into the majestic Hall of American author Washington Irving’s legendary “Squire Bracebridge”. Each December since 1927, the world-famous Hotel takes on the air of eighteenth-century England. The Dining Room of The Ahwahnee, its tables aglow with candlelight, is filled with the warmth and spirit of this special time of year. The evening abounds with a profusion of food and the ringing sound of voices. The cathedral windows look out onto the beauty of Yosemite Valley, and the spirit of all things beautiful cannot help but be felt, as one is enveloped in the joy of the season.
Heraldic horns sound throughout Yosemite National Park's elegant Ahwahnee Hotel, calling guests to enter Bracebridge Hall. Come travel back through time to a Christmas of centuries past, where glorious music and sumptuous food are but part of America's best-loved holiday tradition.
In a perfect balance of the mystical mixed with mirth, this 3-1/2 hour holiday feast transports guests to old England as Squire Bracebridge welcomes all to "food and riches without measure, joining voices raised in festive sound. Let our conviviality abound!" A splendid array of singers, jugglers and court characters tell the story of Lord Merrick Bracebridge and his household, while guests are entertained and tended by an attentive Bracebridge staff.
Your package includes 2 cottages at the Ahwahnee Hotel, 4 tickets to the Bracebridge Dinner, 2 commemorative holiday ornaments and 2 CD's.
Explore this captivating pageant of music and magic at this SOLD OUT event.
