The Green Dragon Pub is a hand-made and Hand-painted authentic David Winter Cottage in it's original box with a Certificate of Authenticity.

"Imagine going for a long walk deep into the English countryside. You leave the road and follow a little lane which peters out to no more than a footpath. You continue down this for some miles, crossing streams and stiles, through pastures and woods. Round a bend you see a ramshackle near-ruin of a house. You have arrived at the pub called The Green Dragon. The door is opened by a wizened, toothless old ancient, who beckons you in and offers you a seat on a dusty old bench in the corner.

He offers you a jug of beer with china mugs to drink from. The beer is strong and warm. You offer payment and are amazed to be asked for a barely tenth of the usual price of ale. You leave and follow the path back to civilisation.

This really happened to David Winter on a walk in the Yorkshire Dales with his father many years ago. Intrigued by the memory, David tried recently to find The Green Dragon Pub. He walked for miles in the district where he had been on holiday with his parents, but never found The Green Dragon.

Was it there? Did he dream it? David had recreated the pub from the vague memories he has of it, from that mystic day of his youth."
