Children and adults at New Beginning Center Emergency Shelter use about 17 gallons of milk each week - 850 gallons a year!  Thanks to generous donors, the shelter will be able to purchase milk for the year.  A year's worth of milk costs about $3,000.

The Emergency Shelter houses up to 33 women, and their children, fleeing violent relationships each night.  The shelter provides  food, clothing, transportation, children's counseling, support groups, legal advocacy, and resource linkage in an environment of safety and support.
