Among the best known landscape photgraphs ever captured at Notre Dame, St Joseph's Lake at Sunset was photographed by Br. William Blum CSC in 1994. Br. William commercialized this piece to support the work of the Holy Cross missions in Bangladesh, including Notre Dame College (4000 students) in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Br William is a fixture on Notre Dame football weekends at his outdoor merchant location just north of Sacred Heart Basilica where he markets prints of his his extensive collection of Notre Dame sports photography.
Beyond its artistic content, St Joseph's at Sunset brings a reminder of Br William's work , football weekends at Notre Dame, the Bengal Missions, and all the important work of the 1670 man Congregation of the Holy Cross around the world.

Special Instructions
This is an original color framed print measuring 27x23. Photo has autumn tones of red-orange, gray and dark brown. Photo is hand signed in gold ink by Br William Blum. Photo and frame are in new condition. Piece was shipped new by Br William to the donor in February 2007.
Frame is a 1 3/4 inch mahogany stain wood frame with 1/4 gold inset, around a two inch distressed beige matte. Frame is by Lighthouse Imaging, Mishawaka, IN.
