Simply exquisite. The colors of this richly textured piece move from top to bottom, originating with verdigris and moving into deeper tones until we reach the base, ending with a deep blue. A copper metallic glaze fills the valleys of each textured twist and turn.

Paula DeSimone is an artist, author and educator who specializes in the art of Surface Design. A graduate of Mass College of Art, DeSimone is the author of four books on the subject of surface painting and is credited for developing a Certificate Program in Decorative Painting at Rhode Island School of Design/Continuing Education. Her work is featured in international hospital, corporate and private collections.   Paula participated in the 2007 8 Visions Exhibit at the Attleboro Arts Museum.
