Description

A violin rests gently against a vase filled with a bouquet of peach colored roses. Painted during the 2007 Flower Show at the Museum, T. A. Charron captures the formality of the arrangement with deft strokes.  The soft organic quality of the roses contrasts with the crisp curves and lines of the violin and vase.  The soft grey's of the wall and table top only act to make the luminous roses more prominent and the violin must take second fiddle to them.

20" X 17" Oil on canvas
