Description

Inspired by the Vaughan House on Monhegan Island, we see the  strong white gable contrasted against the sky, and we can see Margo's vision of this house withstanding the ravages of storms since it was built in 1824. 

20" X 17" Etching 

Margo Lemieux is a long-time museum member and generous donor to our annual auction. She teaches at Lasell College, illustrates children's books and has paintings in several private collections. Margo writes a monthly children's book column for The Sun Chronicle, articles for national publications, such as BookPage and has designed art for music festivals, including the Boston Folk Festival. Margo holds a M.Ed. from Curry College, a BFA from Boston University and an MFA in printmaking from UMass Dartmouth.

This item can be shipped via UPS or picked up at the Museum from Nov. 6th - Nov. 10th. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
