Nora Sarkissian, although a native of Massachusetts, over the past 25 years she has spent time in Germany, England, Boulder, Colorado, San Francisco, and now she resides and works in Santa Cruz.  She was a potter's apprentice in Germany; her undergraduate studies were completed at Southeastern Massachusetts University and the Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado.  She received her M.F.A. from San Jose State University, California.  During a recent stay in Massachusetts Nora, taught "Healing Through the Arts" at the Attleboro Arts Museum.  Nora is currently exhibiting work in Northern California.
