Jo Dorothy holds a BFA and MEd and has been a practicing art educator for over 17 years.  She is currently an art teacher for the UMASS Dartmouth Spotlight Program, the Newman YMCA and Palmer River Arts, where she is also the director.  Jo has received numerous awards including the RISD Book Award and a MA Cultural Council Grant.  She is in a variety of collections throughout the Northeast and a frequent exhibitor.
