Description

Graceful stands of bamboo undulating in an afternoon breeze; the wind sings through the leaves and rattles the trunks against one another in a primal dance.  A hush and then the dance begins again with the next soft breeze. 

14" X 26" Gelatin Monoprint with Watercolor, Framed under Plexiglas. 

Nancy Cusack, a professor at Massachusetts College of Art, enjoys working with the manipulation of light and color, frequently with aerial imagery. Extensive travel across Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe provide both the landscape and mythology for her various series. Nancy's work is represented in private, corporate and institutional collections.  Nancy has been invited to lecture at numerous colleges and conferences in the US and abroad and she has been invited to lecture twice at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.  She has curated, organized and/or written for exhibitions in the U.S., Mexico and The Netherlands.
