Description
NOT for the faint of heart! Beautifully detailed spiders crawl up this cream colored pitcher and tumbler set. The tumblers have a rich earthy ochre glaze on the inside.
The images are original pencil drawings by the artist. The images are painted with enamel and become ceramic transfers. Each image is individually collaged to a piece and fire permanently to the surface.
Ceramic Pitcher and Two Tumblers
Laura Zindel is a graduate of RISD and UMass Amherst. Originally residing of the West Coast after graduation, Laura and her family moved from San Francisco to Guilford, VT in order to grow her business. She has adapted the old process of transfer-ware, popular in the Victorian era to her own unique style. Each design starts with a an original hand drawn image. Laura continues to show throughout the country.
Special Instructions
This item can be shipped via UPS or picked up at the Museum from Nov. 6th - Nov. 10th. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
