Description

A girl sits, arms wide open as if waiting to be rescued, in the center of this castle-like bowl. The bowl has an oval opening and the edging is similar to that of early castles. There are three piercings in the sides, each different, with paintings along the edges. 

Stoneware, Acrylic

Janice Basiletti is a multi-media artist with a BFA from the University of Illinois and an MFA from San Jose State University. She has exhibited widely from California to Massachusetts and has been profiled in a variety of magazines and newspapers. Janice currently lives in Hollis, NH.
