Enjoy a 90-minute reading session or piano lesson with acclaimed pianist and Smith College faculty member Judith Gordon. Violinists, violists, cellists, and pianists are invited to bid. You choose the repertoire with Ms. Gordon. Reading session to take place at a mutually convenient time in Northampton, MA.


Judith Gordon gave her New York recital debut at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's "Introductions' Series and in 1996 was named Boston Globe Musician of the Year. As soloist with the Boston Pops she has performed Mozart, Saint-Saens and Ravel concertos, and with groups including the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, the Pro arte Chamber Orchestra and the MIT Symphony she has appeared in repertoire from Bach, Beethoven and Hindemith to Gorecki, Harbison, and Hyla.


She has appeared in concert with artists and ensembles including soprano Lisa Saffer; mezzo-sopranos Janice Felty and Lorraine Hunt Lieberson; tenor William Hite; baritone James Maddalena; cellists Andres Diaz, Rhonda Rider and Yo-Yo Ma; violists James Dunham, Cynthia Phelps, Roger Tapping and Marcus Thompson; violinists Rose Mary Harbison and Andrew Kohji Taylor; oboist Douglas Boyd; pianists Leonard Stein and Robert Levin; the Arianna, Borromeo, Lydian, and St. Lawrence string quartets; Imani Winds; the Boston Chamber Music Society, Collage New Music, Essential Music, and Santa Fe New Music.


She performs and teaches at chamber music festivals including Cape Cod and Rockport (MA), Charlottesville (VA), Spoleto USA (SC), Token Creek (WI), and Music from Salem (NY) where she is an Artistic Co-Director. Judith was a Resident Artist at the Portland Chamber Music Festival for two summers.
