An exquisite Bento Box dinner, prepared by chef Hiro Sone, chef/proprieter of restaurants Ame, San Francisco, and Terra in St. Helena, for 16 people (sold on line as 4 lots of 4 seats each) featuring a selection of wines from Rombauer Vineyards.
This will dinner will take place in the Club Sportiva ‘garage’ on Harrison Street in San Francisco amidst fine art and exotic sports cars; Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Moran, Jaguar and more.
Over the past four years, Club Sportiva pioneered the unique sports car "timeshare" concept offering sports car aficionados and classic car buffs the ultimate sports car driving experience from a stable of sports cars. The Club currently has three locations in San Francisco, San Jose and Munich Germany. Attendees will be treated to chauffeured drive in some of the exotic cars!
THE DINNER Hiro Sone and Lissa Doumani have been capturing the hearts and appetites of Northern Calfornia diners for nearly 20 years. In 1988 the husband and wife team opened Terra, a world-class dining destination in Napa Valley. The menu will showcase Chef Sone’s seasonal dishes that blend local ingredients. In November 2005—the same year they received a James Beard Foundation nomination for Outstanding Service at their Napa restaurant—they opened Ame, which reflects the level of passion revered at Terra, plus distinctively Japanese and San Franciscan influences. Terra received it’s first Michelin Star in the same year Ame received San Francisco Best New Restaurant by Zagat. Best New Restaurant for 2006 from Food and Wine Magazine.
