Designed by Connie Rose, this one-of-a-kind, individually hand-crafted beaded necklace and earring set radiates both elegance and simplicity. Her work is inspired by several related design genres - the florescence of Art Nouveau and Victorian images, the stylized geometrics of Art Deco and ancient Egyptian designs, Native American and ethnic tribal patterns, and the Craftsman style in craft and architecture. The materials are the finest available - Czechoslovakian and Japanese glass seed beads, sterling silver posts and clasps, turquoise from China. The beadwork is constructed using the Comanche stitch, needle-woven by hand, off-loom, one bead at a time. The earrings with the available set hang approximately 2 inches from the ear. The neckpiece is approximately 15 inches from back of neck to bottom of fringe in front. The elegant fringe is finished with freshwater pearls.
