Description
Three hour consultation in fiction writing, memoir and/or publication with a noted author, Karen Alea. Consultation can be done by phone/internet, in person (if local) or a combination of these. There is no experience necessary. Karen Alea has published numerous essays and short stories, one of which won the Nashville Scene Annual Fiction contest and another placing as semi-finalist in the William Faulkner short story competition. Her first book is For Which He Stands: The True Tale of the CIA, Castro and a Catholic, a biography of Dr. Pepin Almeida, the chief medical officer of the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba in 1961. She is represented by the Howard Morhaim Literary Agency in New York. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Fiction and Literature from Bennington College.
