Description

In today's world of media accessibility, hearing authors read their own work is commonplace, but in the 1930's and 40's this was a rare occurrence. The Harvard University Poetry Room pioneered this trend by producing Harvard Vocarium Records. Up for bid now are two of these unique 78 RPM recordings. We have T.S. Eliot recorded in 1933 reading "The Hollow Men" and "Gerontion", as well as W.H. Auden reading "The Traveller", "In Time of War", "Song and Spring in Wartime".

These amazing recordings are item number 204, donated by Susan Moran of Belmont. Bid high now to own a priceless piece of literary history.
