Scattered over several hundred miles of ocean, the nine islands of the Azores are the closest point in Europe to the United States. If you're our high bidder, you and a companion will spend thirteen nights on the three main islands of the Azore archipelago. You'll visit São Miguel, the capital of the Azores. The biggest, most diverse and most populated island, São Miguel is known for its volcanic lakes, sulfur-spring spas, historic towns, beaches and mountains. You'll also see Faial. Faial has gentle countryside, cool forests, a distinct line of extinct volcanic craters and a busy marina where thousands of yachts each year make harbor when crossing the Atlantic. In addition you'll stay on Terceira, the third Azorean island to be discovered and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
