Description
For nearly two centuries, the name Reed & Barton has been synonymous with fine sterling silver. Since 1824, their richly designed and expertly made silver has graced the homes of those who appreciate and admire works of beauty.
For the 2007 Auction, Reed and Barton has donated a forty-six piece set of their Francis I Sterling Silver Flatware. Francis I is one of the most highly collectible sterling patterns in the world. Seemingly consisting of one basic design, Francis I actually features fifteen different fruit clusters detailed in a complete set. Included in this classic set are: Eight 5-piece place settings, eight extra teaspoons, a butter serving knife, a sugar spoon, tablespoon, pierced tablespoon, cold meat fork and a pie server. The complete set of 46 pieces comes in its own Mahogany Storage chest.
