Description
This is another two-sided pillowcase created by Michael Paraskevas, who illustrated Betty Paraskevas's Marvin, The Tap-Dancing Horse. On the side featuring the red WGBH "TwoTag" Marvin is seen with his friends including "Diamonds" the elephant, "Stripe" the tiger, and "Elizabeth" the emotional pig. They are drawn cartoon style in black and white.
On the reverse, Paraskevas has drawn a colorful alien, nattily attired in a blue suit, white shirt and a striped tie. We have no idea where this alien came from, but it's clear from its big blue eyes and toothy smile that it is the friendly type of alien. This side of the Channel Two pillowcase would be a colorful addition to the room of anyone fascinated by space travel.
The pillowcase itself measures about 21 by 31 inches, but the alien drawing is 11 by 15 inches. The illustrator signed both sides of this pillowcase.
