Description

This beautifully drawn image of seven-year-old Anna in her bedroom is from Marybeth Lorbiecki's touching book Sister Anne's Hands. Sister Anne, an African American nun, is Anna's new second grade teacher. The illustration is by K. Wendy Popp and is done with a simple intimacy and sensitivity that is clear in Anna's face.

If you have read "Sister Anne's Hands" or have read it to your child, then this drawing will have special meaning to you. If you are not familiar with the book, do not let that stop you from bidding on this pillowcase, then buy the book. You will be pleased with both of your purchases. The illustration itself is 10 by 17 inches.
