Description

Drawing. Pen and ink drawing depicts privateer schooner Fame departing under full sail from Pedrick's Wharf, Marblehead, circa 1812. Sail loft and other structures on wharf and manned rowboats alongside wharf and schooner. Replicated Fame now sails Salem Harbor to which Pedrick's Wharf is being moved. White hand drawn French mat and gilded wood frame. Signed lower left, titled lower right. 13 x 16 inches.
