Lee Ann Goya, also known as leebs, graduated with a B.F.A. in Visual Communications from California State University, Long Beach, in 1994. After years of designing she took the leap in 2000 to follow her heart and is currently painting, sculpting, and exploring ways to express her voice and vision. Goya’s work revolves around the messages of those she calls her muses, teachers, and spiritual guides: Muchas 'n' Poquitos, who are significant figures in her pieces. Her paintings are colorful, whimsical, and filled with good vibes. She has exhibited at the Eco-Logical Art gallery in Los Angeles, Cactus gallery in Eagle Rock, American Friends Gallery in Pasadena, Lombardo Studios in Culver City, and won first place at the Suspects, Inc. exhibition held at the Eco-logical Art gallery. Her work is currently being used by Project Nightlight to reach out to abused children. She currently lives in Venice, California.
