The Oregon Coast Aquarium features the "Passages of the Deep" attraction, in which visitors are able to come face to face with large sharks, rockfish and bat rays swimming above and below them through acrylic tunnels surrounded by several feet of sea water. Just as fun to watch are the Sea otters, Seals, and Sea lions swimming and playing, and the mysterious jellies.
Don't miss your chance to visit their new exhibit, Oddwater, slated to open Memorial Day weekend, 2008. As the name implies, Oddwater will offer encounters with strange marine life. There are many unique and wonderful life forms that live in the ocean and Oddwater will take a fascinating look at some of the more unusual among them.
