Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic, Diane Cooper's work is comprised of materials reminiscent of bits and pieces of everyday life, including wood, leather, fiber and metal, often used in the condition in which they are found. She combines these elements in ways that create new relationships between these materials and the objects from which they came.
