Description

Mrs. Peebles' students depict Bugs in a Meadow - Quilt. The children used their fingers and fingerprints to create butterflies, ladybugs, bumblebees, catapillers, dragonflies or ants. The pictures are sewn together in a design with bright yellow and orange pin wheels symbolizing the sun or flowers, your choice. The MCS logo with teachers names and school year are set in the center so that this piece becomes the perfect keepsake for one of the students. Many thanks to the quilting craftsperson, Tanya Gubenko, her child has a piece included here. Tanya used her quilting talent to accomplish this quilt, but she also provided inspiration and direction for the other quilts created for this year's auction as well as past auctions. MCS is very fortunate to have her as a mom and contributor.
