Description

This is magnificent artwork depicts a battle scene from Ramayana, ancient India's immortal epic tale of gods and demons. In the tradition of the Vedas, Ramayana reflects the wisdom of those timeless Sanskrit scriptures. Composed in an age of great warrior kings who lived and ruled in pursuit of virtue and truth, it tells the story of Rama and his wife Sita, who are said by the Vedas to be manifestations of Vishnu and Lakshmi, accepted as the Supreme Person and His eternal consort. Passed down orally in poetic verse, Ramayana is one of the most moving and beautiful stories of all time.
