Formerly called Six Flags Marine World, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is the only combination wildlife park, theme park, and oceanarium in the world. This newly re-branded Northern California theme park, now features rides, shows and animal attractions in three distinct areas called: "Land", "Sea" and "Sky".

Upon entering the park, guests will enter Explorers Outpost, the starting point for exploring this 136-acre park. In the "Land" guests will see and interact with live animals such as elephants or the park's loveable giraffes. Entering the "Sea" guests will be able to see the park's new killer whale show starring Shouka and be entertained by the park's other sea creatures including, dolphins, sea lions and walruses. The "Sea" is also where Six Flags Ocean Discovery program takes place offering the opportunity to feed and pet dolphins and stingrays and meet the park's penguins. The third area "Sky" is where Six Flags Discovery Kingdom offers an assortment of thrilling rides and attractions, like Medusa, Vertical Velocity and Northern California's best wooden coaster, Roar. Sky also features the Justice League Super Heroes Stage, featuring Batman and Robin, The Flash and others live on stage.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is located 30 miles northeast of San Francisco in Vallejo. The theme park is accessible from San Francisco, Oakland and Sacramento.
