Singing as inspiration brings us to the conscious awareness of our involvement with creation, and provides us with the tools to guide that creation. The importance of the word, uttered by the voice is the essence of self, and the source of awareness. Developing the skills to sing with inspiration opens awareness to the Divine Self. The crucible of magic is in the singing voice. Learning how to erect the singing voice is the core of our instruction. Developing the stamina and strength to sustain the incantation is the work. Employing the skills of inspired intonation to artfully present the voice is the product.

Barbara is the President of the Board of Dream Tree Project, a non-profit, transitional living center for youth in Taos New Mexico. She is a member of the Board of HDP, a non-profit organization started in order to train and certify Human Design Practitioners. As a Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation volunteer, Barbara helped start the Ankur Center, the first child guidance clinic in Kathmandu, Nepal, where she teaches and trains twice a year. She's also actively involved with the Miss Taos Scholarship Pageant and coaches prospective Miss New Mexico contestants.
