Belly dance evolved out of worship of the Divine feminine. Sarah Astarte has been dancing for five years now, and dances with veils and a sword. It is honoring and celebratory of the feminine, the Divine, and her gorgeous body! She can do a performance in costume with props to two different songs. will bring her own music, outfits, and props, and is happy to perform indoors or outdoors, weather permitting.

Sarah Astarte is a fourth year doctoral student at ITP; her dissertation is on transforming self-image by working with the archetype of the Love Goddess.  She is willing to travel about 65 miles from Sunnyvale for your performance!
